So pretty! I’m bidding on a morganite in 10k rose gold RHR right now. Wanted something in rose gold, and morganite looks so nice in it. One thing I wish I would’ve considered when getting an ering was that most white gold will have to be replated in rhodium. Rose gold won’t. I like the idea of not parting ways with my ring every few years (or months for some people). Also, think of the type of a wedding band you want and how it would go with the ering’s shape. Other than that, I don’t think you can go wrong!

I think both are beautiful, but they are a different look.  Rose gold makes it all sort of soft and feminine and draws attention t o the ring as a whole.  Whereas white gold allows for contrast, and really showcases the stone.

I think you should base it on what type of jewelry you normally wear and what looks best with your skin tone.  I have a friend who looks terrible in white gold!

Bottom line, they both look good and you should choose what you want.  IMO, rose gold is more feminine/vintage and white gold is more modern.

This is one that I’m pining for, it’s not a morganite though.

It’s a peachy coloured sapphire. I love sapphires, they’re hard and they come in pretty much any colour. This one is set in rose gold and the reason I love it is because it’s micropave and the way the diamonds are set, you see just a bit of rose gold – not too much.

Another option is to go w/ a white gold band, but have the prongs and undercarriage in rose gold. That way it compliments the pinks in the stone, but it’s not too obvious.

i want a morganite so badly but hate rose gold (i know!) so i’m getting a white gold ring with the basket and prongs for the morganite in rose gold to help set off the stone but my halo setting and the band will be white gold so almost no rose gold shows but the color of the morganite is still fierce.

I am moreof a white gold/diamonds kind of girl, so imagine my surprise when I fell in love with the rose gold/morganite look. I absolutely adore my ring, and apparently, so does everyone else. I get soooo many complients ony my morganite every single time I am out and about. And guess what, I never tire of it, lol.
