Hi ladies – I’m in LOVE with Mori Lee 1657. I’ve tried on similar styles, and know this is the look i’m going for. I can’t find this dress anywhere in my state to try it on. Have any of you ordered a dress without trying the exact match on? I’m terrified to do it, but want some input. I’m also wondering if anyone has tried it on, how it fits them, if you have pictures, etc. I would LOVE some help. Please!!!!!! 🙂
Thanks so much!

@junit18: I was having a similar problem and was lucky enough that driving to the next state over was an option for me.
However, one or two of the dress shops that I called was willing to order it in for me to try on. Maybe you can find a retailor for Mori Lee in your state and see if they would be willing to order it for you?

@junit18: Are any of the shops near you having a Mori Lee trunk show? There was a dress I wanted to try on so I asked the shop if the designer would bring one with them even though it wasn’t from the new season and they did.

Thanks so much for your tips! Believe it or not, i finally found a store two hours away that had it. I’m not wild about how it looked though. I decided to write a review, and post pictures of me in it, so other brides can see how it looks too. I’m trying this whole new blogging thing, so i wrote a blog about it 🙂 Feel free to check it out, and see my pictures of this dress on. http://thejenjaminchronicles.com/mori-lee-style-1657-dress-review/
Thanks again for your input. I really appreciate your help!

@junit18: Same position! A chain of bridal shops by me (Bridal Suite) will order the dress for $50, you can try it on and see what you think. If you love it, great. If not, alright. They will deduct the cost of the “sample” from your end price.
I’d find a shop you love and trust and see what they will do for you. Most of the times they’ll accomodate you…anything for a sale!
