Hi, I’m new here….
I tried on Mori Lee 2181 the other day and I love it! It looks nothing like the pictures but sadly I didn’t get chance to take any pictures :[
I googled the dress when I got home but nobody seems to have any pictures of them in it…
I was just wondering if anyone else has this dress and what they think about it or any pictures of them in it…??
Going back to see it next week as its in a sample shop (new with tags!!) and its at a great price but just wanted to know what others thought?!?

I found a post from someone on here that has a picture of them wearing the dress. It’s the only one I could find though .. sorry!

@theredhead: Thanks, I saw that one too. I put an underskirty thing (sorry im rubbish with what everythibg is called) on underneath which made the bottom poof out really nicely.
Im going to take some pictures when I go back next week… Even if I have to get my Maid/Matron of Honor to sneak them!! Then I’ll be able to get more opinions 😀 thanks again!

Hi! I actually wore this dress in my wedding… I had it altered to have my shoulders covered and shortened at the waist— I am just way too short, but it is essentially the same dress– you can see where it cuts off from the original gown.
Here is a link to my photographers pics.

If possible, I would not have the dress shortened. Buy taller heels. There is no way to make the waistline look as natural as it originally looked. I wasn’t 100% happy with my alterations, but I had to have them done to be able to walk/dance in the dress.
Because of the scalloping on the bottom, it is nearly impossible to take it up from the bottom. I had MANY compliments on the dress… and LOVED IT!

@erinbberg: Thanks so much for posting!
I’ve actually bought the dress after much deliberating and it fits perfectly (height wise)just needs to be taken in nearer the wedding date!
I love the covered shoulders on your dress though, it fits perfectly.
Only a year and four months until I get to wear it!!

I completely agree. The dress in person fits and looks nothing like it does in the pictures, it is so much better. I wore the Mori Lee 2181 dress for my wedding last month and I absolutely loved it. Here is a picture of the dress in the back
