@Ms.Purple – Is radiant taffeta the same as luxe taffeta? I’d love to see some pics. I am probably going with a Mori Lee Luxe Taffeta dress. I am afraid of it looking cheap, but actually really like the lightweight fabric since my wedding will be in July. Thanks!

I hated this dress when I saw it months ago, but seeing how it fits on real women, I am in love with it.

@Library Lady: I saw that Mori Lee dress and had to try it on.  It really is quite fabulous.  It a beautiful dress, and very unique!  In the end, I thought the skirt was much too full for my outdoor mountain lodge wedding.  Where are you getting married?

I ended up going with the Mori Lee 6405  It’s made of Luxe Taffeta.  I think it’s a gorgeous dress, and I couldn’t care less that it’s not made of silk or lace. I love that is simple and traditional, and I’m thrilled to have a great dress, for an unbelievable price.

My BFF wore a Mori Lee at her wedding, I thought it was beautiful, and didn’t believe her when she told me the price!

I didn’t know anything about dress designers going into the salons. I tried one on after another until I found THE ONE.  It’s Mori Lee 1608 and it looks amazing.  I do believe it is at the higher end of the line.

How ironic!  I just posted a thread asking about the quality of Mori Lee gowns.  Here is my post:

I was just wondering if anyone has experience with purchasing a mori lee wedding gown?  I just came from a local store here that carries mori lee.  I tried on a dress similar to my dream dress except this one has more bling action to it.  The sample wasn’t quite my size (daggone cheeseburgers!) so it was a little snug at the hips and buckles in the middle.  I tried tugging at it just a tiny bit to get it down my hips and……RIP!!  One of the frickin ruffles came off!!!!  That really made me second guess purchasing the dress.  The mori lee costs about half the price of my dream dress (San Patrick Eresma) but after tearing off the ruffle I am sad:(  Here’s a pic….never mind my facial expression.  I was agg! (aggrevated)….

I also have Mori lee 6405 and think it looks so much better on a real bride than the model.

I am wearing that dress! I LOVE it. here are a few photos of me in the sample. I am having the flower removed, adding more crinoline and this sample was extremely big on me. I will post more full body photos once the actual dress in my size comes in 🙂

I just bought this dress (4805) and LOVE IT!!!  I tried on about 9 dresses before this one including one from the Madeline Gardner line.  When I picked this dress/tried it on, I was nervous to look at the price because it is very beautiful in person.  It was a great price and looks stunning.  It’s also very unique.  The girl who was helping me at the bridal shop told me she was excited to sell this dress because she had never sold it to anyone and thought it was beautiful.  Definitley go for the dress!

I thought mori lee was beautiful and would have bought one of their gowns until I bought a vera wang.  But yes, their gowns are gorgeous and are cheaper than you would imagine.

I’d love to see any photos of gals in the mori lee blu 4805. There are few photos online of the dress on real people vs a model. I will have to shop a good distance from home for this dress and am curious to see other/more photos of it!
