I got the Mori Lee 5108, and am doing a birdcage. It isn’t exactly situated how I want, bu the general idea!

@Reillytobe:  That was one of my top choices when I was gown shopping. Absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced! I think it would look amazing with a cathedral veil or mantilla veil!!! I don’t think it will be too much as your gown has a very classic look and doesn’t have a lot of beading or embellishments.

Not the same style. I had the 1612, chose a simple two tier ribbon lined veil for the same reasons as I would for your dress. With such beautiful lace detail you might want to have a more simple veil to not take anything away from your beautiful dress. Really, you can’t go wrong though. What a lovely gown!!

I made mine! 😀 A couple yards of raw edged ivory tulle. Very simple, but made for pretty blowing-in-the-breeze shots.

I will be wearing Mori Lee Blu 4902 which is a fit and flare style dress. I choose a simple findertip length veil because I didn’t want to take away from the bottom of the dress. And the border on the veil has beading, which compliments the beading on the dress.

Here is the only picture I have of the veil on me. The veil is Bel Aire Bridal 7012

This is my dress(i apologise i tried to re size but not sure if its worked! and i struggled for moths on what veil. straight edge didnt go due to the ruffles on the skirt. i didnt want it plain but new lace wouldnt go so ive decided on a finger tip length scalloped edge veil with diamante droplets on the edge. and love it!

Hi Girls,

I also bought the Morilee 1862 and I have already ordered my veil too. I went with the catherdal lenght, 1 layer, no trim veil. I think it looks amazing with the dress.

I had the 1619 and the dress is 80% tulle. I wanted a mantilla veil which I know is bonkers with this dress. However I found a beautiful and cheap fingertip lace edge veil that pretty much looked like a mantilla veil when I had it on. It was my day and that’s what I wanted and that’s what I did. That was the only time I used ” it’s my day and It’s what I want” excuse Laughing

Ah I have just posted a question very similar to this!

I am going for the mori lee 5108, however as originally I had planned to have a lace dress with a mantilla veil I think I am going to have to rethink my choice of veil.

If anybody has an all tulle mermaid fit dress what veil have you gone with?
