You have lovely taste and I love them both, but I understand your concern about the beading. Have you tried a square neckline? It would de-emphasize your chest a bit, and bring you more into proportion overall.

If you’re ready to pick between these two, the Maggie is my fav of the two here. But I’d keep looking for a Maggie without beads on top, personally.

I think the Maggie is better looking for your figure (the side ruching is lovely on you), but I do see the point about boob beads.  I think that it might depend on the type of photography… flashes directly at you will cause the beads to reflect and go “BEADS!” while if it’s a softer bounced light then the effect is very pretty without screaming beads.

I think I tried on that Maggie, too… or one very similar.  The beads were a lot of the reason I left it behind.

I almost ended up with the Maggie Sottero Adelaide.  I LOVED that dress but even with the beading it wasn’t quite enough for me.  The adelaide looks fantastic with a veil with small beading around the edges.

Here is me in the Adelaide just for fun.

@kfricke89: You’re considering Maggie’s Adelaide! That was my runner up dress; I LOVED it… it was so figure-flattering and I really liked the beading on the chest.

Needless to say, I voted for her. I love Maggie dresses, specifically that one. 🙂

@kfricke89: I still ended up with a Maggie, but I chose Vienna in the end because I just felt like it matched my personality a little better.

This is a pic of the sample, which was a 14 or a 16 ( I can’t remember which), so the actualy dress should fit a little bette, and it should look more flared than it does here, but I wasn’t wearing any sort of shapewear when I was trying on the samples.

Now I’m curious… did you decide? What did you end up going with?
