I’m trying to be uber-prepared, and part of that is packing! Along with cleaning my house for the third time, I plan to be 90% packed for both the wedding weekend and our honeymoon this weekend. The one thing I’m having trouble with is what to pack for our post-wedding brunch on Sunday morning. I am having trouble remembeirng what people have worn in the past. I think it has been jeans and a tshirt, but that particular bride was very casual.

I wore a casual sweater dress and leggings to my thank you brunch. After getting less than 4 hours of sleep, I’m just glad I didn’t show up in my underwear lol.

We’re having a morning after brunch and Barbque. It’s going to last for a couple of hours.
Here’s what I’m wearing:

- Wedding: June 2014 - Cedar Lake Cellars
I’m wearing jeans and my bride hoodie. I think everyone will be planning to travel home afterwards so there’s no reason it shouldn’t be casual.

- Wedding: September 2014 - Waldorf Astoria, Chicago
I plan on going to our brunch very casual. I’m going to wear this, or something similar.

My engagement party day-after brunch was mostly a farewell to family who flew in from Israel, who likely will not be coming back for the wedding (we crammed a family wedding, recent birth, and my engagement party in the two weeks they visited!). I wanted to look nice, so rolling out of bed for a quick shower and putting on two articles of clothing was pretry easy. I wore a floral dress, black tights, and velvet smoking slipper. It was all laid out the morning before. No additional jewelry besides my watch and e-ring, and I threw my hair up in a ballerina bun. I’ll likely do the same thing for the wedding, but wear a short white dress instead.

- Wedding: October 2011 - Bed & Breakfast
I wore a pair of dark wash trouser jeans, a light pink shell, a white cardigan, and ballet flats… so slightly dressy casual. It was all stuff I already had in my closet, that’s for sure.

i’m going to wear a sundress and wedges – something like this:

I don’t have a picture, but I wore a cute casual sundress and flats.

I wore jeans and a T-shirt.

I wore light linen trousers and a light three quarter sleeve smart top. We were flying right after the lunch so it was my travel outfit, chosen for comfort….but also super smart as we had been advised that would help us to get an upgrade on the flight…..sadly it didn’t. No upgrade for us. But we did get the first class headphones and a couple of glasses of first class champagne 🙂

Probably some jean shorts and pretty dressy tank would be as much as I will want to dress up the morning after my wedding. I could see myself showing up in sweats. I think by that time, no one cares, they just want to see you one more time.

- Wedding: July 2014 - The Meeting House/DoubleTree by Hilton
Misswhowedding: At the brunches I’ve attended, the brides have been very casual/comfortable – jeans and a tshirt type of thing. We’re getting married in July, so I’m probably going to throw on a maxi dress or something similar. The less I have to remember to pack, the better!

For the morning after brunch I’ll be wearing this (i think the photo may be blurry)-
Knowing our guests there will be a mix of dressing – casual to dressier but you’re the bride so wear what you feel is the most appropriate and are comfortable with
