Oh gosh, I’m so sorry! I just went through this in September-October and it was particularly bad this time. I had to eat some crackers first thing when I woke up. And slowly drink water (key word: slowly). It’s so, so hard. I didn’t read all of the replies here, so this may be redundant. But try to eat something small and light every few hours. If you get too hungry, you’re going to get sick. This time I noticed that fresh air actually did help me, but it was fall and the weather was beautiful. So that might not apply to you right now. If it gets really bad, your doctor should be able to prescribe you something.

My first pregnancy it only lasted maybe 2 weeks. Unfortunately in my current pregnancy, it was a 6-7 week ordeal 😕 but I feel fab now! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

ETA- take your prenatal at night before bed. That helped a lot too

@sbl99:  Prescription from your doctor!!! Unisom + B6 didn’t help me, but Diclegis made it manageable.  I honestly don’t know how women survived before anti-nausea meds.  I’m now 14 weeks and though I’m still on Diclegis, I have been feeling great the past week or so.  Hang in there, but don’t feel like you have to tough it out!

ETA: I couldn’t get water down basically at all weeks 6-12 (and I was a 1.5 gallon a day girl).  I bought a TON of gatorade (zero sugar bc I didn’t want to down 2384923497834 liquid calories when I was eating carbs all day to survive) and the colder the better.  Ice in everything made it more palatable.  I also really love citrus popcicles. None of these things would’ve helped on their own (I tried), but they helped in combination with the Diclegis.  I shout Diclegis’ praise from the rooftop lol.

@missinthecity:

Many didn’t. It used to be a common cause of death lumped into “complications from pregnancy.”

Don’t torture yourself, just call your doctor and get some meds!

Unisom and B6 did absolutely nothing for me.  I think Bonjesta helped, and I stayed on it my entire pregnancy just in case.  But only time passing can really do it.
