I started morning sickness about 8 weeks. It was pretty bad, seriously all day sickness. Became lactose intolerant all dairy made me sick. I got motion sickness & anything that smelled bad made me sick. Most women it eases up 13-14weeks. I was until like 18weeks. But would still get motion sickness & sick from dairy. I had a girl,  I’ve always heard girls make you more sick. But really don’t think that’s true.

    I’m 12 weeks and I didn’t have any MS.  I don’t know gender yet.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant with a boy. I didn’t really have morning sickness. I threw up a total of two times during the first trimester, but that’s it. For the most part, I just felt mildly nauseous from weeks 6-10, then it went away completely and hasn’t come back since.

If you don’t get MS, count yourself lucky! LOL I got it about 5-6 weeks in and it dissipated around the beginning of the 2nd trimester, although I still get a bout of it here and there. (I’m at 18 weeks this week.) I have a boy. My MS was all day and there were definitely triggers, like extremely greasy food or when I simply ate too much food.

I voted no morning sickness but I kind of did. I only vomited once during the whole pregnancy but did have nausea from time to time.

Had me a little baby girl 🙂

I’m only 12 weeks, so I can’t answer all of your questions. My morning sickness started right around 6 weeks, and at 7, I was ready to die. Seriously, my husband thought I was dying; not pregnant. I’ve been on Zofran since, but it is easing up now. For the past week it hasn’t been as terrible, but I still throw up if I don’t take my pill. Simply existing makes me sick.

I’m really hoping I’ll at least stop vomiting soon because this is getting ridiculous.

I’ll also add that I throw up a lot in my non-pregnant life. I just have a sensitive belly, so it was generally expected that I would have extreme morning sickness. I’m highly doubtful that there’s any correlation between morning sickness and the sex of the baby, though.

@Mrs. Gremmlin:  I agree – I know a girl who had horrible morning sickness all throughout her pregnancy, and she had a boy. So I don’t really believe in the morning sickness=girl theory. I think it has more to do with how the person reacts to the hormones.

I have 2 daughters.  First one, I only threw up once and was only slightly nauseated during the 1st trimester.  2nd baby I never threw up at all and was even less nauseated than the first time.

The majority of my morning sickness hit at the end of week 8. I had a week of total hell. After than, I had very little nausea and no vomiting.

    I had a girl.

My first symptom was nausea, started when I was only about 4 – 5 weeks pregnant. My morning sickness continued on pretty consistently until about 16 weeks. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and still throw up maybe once a week.

I had crazy extreme morning sickness, well into the second trimester!  Even after that, I had lots of digestive issues, and I still do in the third.  I still get sick if I go too long without eating too.  Oh, and we are having a girl 🙂

The one thing I learnd about Old Wive’s tales is not to believe them for a second.  Almost every single one pointed to girl for me, and even the Chinese Calendar said girl, so I basically convinced myself this baby was definitely a girl, I even FELT like it was a girl.

I was sure surprised when we found out our baby was very obviously a boy!  I had terrible morning sickness from 6 weeks until around 13, then it went away completely (thank GOD!).  This is why I will never again with any further pregnancies get too attached to the idea of it being one sex or the other, because I know it is definitely just completely random 50/50 chance!

I’ve had 2 pregnancies. Had a girl the first time and am 19 weeks now and don’t know the gender. I had morning sickness for a week with my daughter and it stopped when I noticed it was linked with me taking folic acid. I stopped taking that and it went away. Same with this time around. Took folic acid until about 10 weeks pregnant and MS stopped when I stopped taking it.
