When I think Moroccan, I immediately think of jewel toned colors, lush fabrics, lanterns, draping etc.

Moroccan tea glasses used for tealights or votive holders

I would start with Google and Pinterest. You will come up with soome great inspiration pics.

Have you chosen your colors yet?

We are doing a Moroccan inspired nights. for our rehersal dinner.  We are having panels of jewel toned fabric hung from the ceiling.  We are also using chivari chairs with jewel toned cushions. There will be 4 different color table cloths- red, purple, turquoise and gold.

Here’s a gorg. Moroccan wedding: http://blog.weddingwire.com/index.php/weddings/yellow-purple-moroccan-styled-wedding/

I would say this is slightly less authentic (I have been to Morocco!): http://blog.hwtm.com/2009/08/modern-moroccan-inspired-dessert-buffet/

As for authenticity, orange juice is really big in morocco, as is tea.  Having tea glasses (not cups or mugs like we have) with silver tea pots (very ornate was very typical.  That could be a really cool centerpiece.  Also lanterns everywhere!

Good luck!
