Oh Bee, i feel your pain! I pass out quite a lot as i get bouts of really low blood pressure. It happened to me at work once, i felt cold then next thing i know my boss was standing over me going “oh f**k” over and over. Theyll joke for a bit but they know you were only trying to do a good thing!

That happens to a lot of people. I donated plasma one time and I finished quickly, went out to the waiting room, and I was fine, I was fine, I was fine, and then the next thing I knew as bunch of people were hovering over me on the floor, freaking out, and said I’d passed out and started spasming.

Plenty of people pass out during or after medical procedures. My husband had to catch a 6ft 3in man before he fell on the floor. He complained about his shoulder hurting afterwards but wasn’t at all surprised about the man fainting.
I can’t look at the blood going out of my arm or I get kind of queasy. And I can look at the most foul wound imaginable and not bat an eye. I’ve given blood many times but once was specifically for a woman whose son played on my son’s hockey team. She needed an operation and the hospital was low on her type of blood, but it was my type as well so I stepped up. She was Filipino and I have since learned that my blood type is more common in the Asian population.

sbl99 : I’m so sorry, but the way you wrote about it really gave me a chuckle! Use your clearly excellent sense of humour to brush it off and turn it in to a funny story 😊
Also, don’t worry too much about it. My husband fainted when he got his second tattoo, they had to lie him down to finish. He was mortified! It turned out it was because they did the tattoo with him standing up, and his body just had a weird “fight or flight” response to it lol. He automatically gets them done lying down now!
