The other night, I noticed the same kind of thing.  She was going CRAZY!!  DH wasn’t home but I was on the phone with him when she was doing it and I wish he could have seen it!  It was like a wave/ripple going across my belly! It doesn’t happen often like you said, but sometimes.

Mosh pit!  I love it!

My LO doees the exact same thing.  Usually the more relaxed I am, the crazier she goes.  I have just learned to be entertained by my jumping belly when I”m snuggling with my honey or taking a bath.

Mine has days when she is super crazy and other days when she just sleeps. Sometimes the crazies come at the most inconvenient times though!  Like when I am carrying something, concentrating on something, or just trying to unwind.  But of course, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!

I once read somewhere that baby is comforted by mom’s movement during the day and sleeps a lot.  But, when mom is winding down baby becomes restless and the “mosh pit” movements begin!  I believe it is true.  With both of my pregnancies all of the babies’ “action” happened in the evening/night – when I wanted to rest!

This is very normal, my LO did this ALL the time while in they belly. Now as a 3 month old you should see him rock it on his activity matt. His arms and legs just move.

My son did that  any time I ate lasagna. I would  crave anything pasta related and he would be fine for all but lasagna. Regular pasta…nothing. Alfredo…nothing. Mac N Cheese…nothing. Lasagna…super crazy kid on a roller coster! I’m not sure why but anytime I would try to eat it he would  be super active for a good half hour or so. He gets really excited eating it now too. He LOVES the stuff. lol

I had to come back and report that last night, my little one thought that 3:15 AM was the perfect time for an all out dance party!  I was just laying there thinking “please let me sleep!”  🙂
