I’ve undertaken the task of making moss monogram letters for the doors of our church, but I’ve hit a snag. I can’t figure out how to print the template for the letters! I thought it would be as simple as opening word, typing the letters I need, making the font huge, and then hitting print, but it’s not printing it so that I can reassemble the pages to create the larger letter. There has to be some setting I’m not clicking. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried getting rid of your page margains? You can do that by either opening up the margins tab and making them 8 1/2 x 11 (the saize of letter paper) or you can just physically grab the margain arrows at the tops and sides of the page and pull them over.
If that doesn’t work print it out smaller and then go to staples or a stationary place where I’m sure they can enlarge it for you for a couple of dollars.

I did try getting rid of the margins, but even then, the biggest I can print it is 8.5 x11. I was hoping for it to be much bigger, like over 4 peices of paper.

Design your own, it’s not that hard.
Or set template (page layout) to custom, and make it 42″ x 65″ (like a poster), or whatever size works for you.

Let me know what letters you want and I can set this up for you in like two seconds if you want :).
PM me of you’re still having trouble!

@msgiraffe: Ah, I sure wish I saw this before I started my crafting! I ended up just winging it. I drew the letters free hand. They came out great though. It was just a really time consuming project. It’s not nearly as easy as everyone makes it look!
