Do a search on here for them. You’ll find all kinds of reading material. Lol.

You can search my posts and see my fiasco with them. In the end, I have a lovely ring that I adore from moissaniteco. I sadly can not recommend the company, nor would I use them again. I hope you get yours with zero issues.

Some craftsmanship issues I experienced that led me to return the ring I got there, but good customer service experience!

I might be in the minority here—my experience with MoissaniteCo was seamless and I would do it all over again. I exchanged emails for many months with Chris from Customer Service as we discussed the customization process, reference photos, and the specifications I wanted. He was wonderful to work with and after reviewing 3-4 CADs, I felt comfortable placing an order. Those months of conversing really helped him understand what I wanted so when the designer wasn’t quite there, he was able to take my feedback and convey it to the designer and suggested a solution to the issue in the design. Lo and behold, that did the trick and I love love love my engagement ring. I’ve never had an issue with the stones or the yellow gold. I think everyone has their own unique experience with the company, so unfortunately they may be inconsistent with customer service and quality, but when they’re good, they’re GOOD.

This is my final CAD, which was still sliiiiightly different than what I wanted but when Chris described what he would have the jeweler do, I felt confident in moving forward.

Best I can do with a camera phone =P

Let us know what you decide! My best advice for working with MoCo is to be super communicative.

I’ve bought a couple of “off the shelf” rings in the past few years from MoCo, and was fairly happy with both the items and the service ( I returned one of the rings because I didn’t love it). The trilogy ring I bought had unenhanced stones and I know the stones threw the funky colors in certain weather. The eternity ring was very nice and has held up nicely over the years.

Since then I have sold the trilogy ring on and purchased higher quality moissanite from Tianyu which are AMAZING.

My opinion is that I would rather buy from the big Chinese producers than MoCo, as they respresent much better value. Of course not everyone is comfortable moving from a well known website to the Alibaba platform, so horses for courses.

Good luck.

I had 2 great experiences with MoCo. My engagement ring and wedding band are from them. My engagement ring was a standard setting and it is beautiful- no issues. My wedding band was technically special order to match my engagement ring, as they don’t offer that band on their website and it was also in palladium which they no longer offer as a standard metal option. Both orders were easy, no issues, prompt shipping. Both rings are flawless.

I had a pretty terrible experience with them, I started a couple of threads about what happened last year. Personally I would never recommend them.

I ordered an ags000 stone in one of their stock settings and have been thrilled.

I would buy from them again.

I’m doing a custom ring right now and waiting for it to be done and so far with dealing with moissaniteco has been amazing! I did get a ring from them last month but I wasn’t happy with my choice of setting, so that is the only reason I’m doing custom.

I pretty much read all reviews I could find with moCo and in the end I just decided to try it out and I’m glad I did. I’m excited to see my custom ring.

Keep in mind, this is a company that gets hundreds if not thousands of orders every month. And they do not create anything “in house” themselves other than the cad if it’s custom.  Everything they sell is outsourced.  If you go looking for the bad you’ll find it all on the web.  But there are as many bee’s satisfied with their service as there are not.  I’ve had 2 custom creations made myself-and I had great experiences both times and both of my rings are years old now, with no issues on either of them.

I have ordered many pieces from them over the years, some custom and some “off the rack.” MoCo’s service and communication have been excellent and the quality of the pieces are second to none.

They do appear to have dropped the ball by not disclosing that sidestones were actually lab grown (vs mined) diamonds. Their settings were more econommically priced because of that. From my perspective, I had shopped around and understood the value of the setting so I didn’t care if the sidestones were moissy, mined or lab diamonds. Obviously, that’s not true for others.

I had a great experience working with them. My order was custom and I felt confident enough to move forward with the order even though I couldn’t see a picture of the ring since it was custom. They were quick to respond to emails, quick to ship, and in the end I got a beautiful ring. I recommend them based off of my experience. I’m going to order my wedding band from them as well.

My boyfriend and I ordered an engagement ring with Forever One stone from MoCo. While the ring was lovely, it just wasn’t ~the~ ring. We returned it and had no issues. Since we had the ring made in platinum, there was a percentage return fee. However that was clearly outlined on their return policy, so it wasn’t a surprise to us. Overall I can’t speak to the quality of the metal and stone since we didn’t get the ring inspected. But we did have an overall great customer service experience.

I had started a custom setting and was constantly bugging Chris with small changes, until I cancelled my order and bought a wedding band with the credit I had already paid. I cancelled because i just couldn’t commit to the stone which I thought I wanted. Now, I am contacting them for my forever ring. The service has always been amazing and his patience! And… my wedding band is perfect! I have Ann209i. Hopefully they drop the vendors who keep causing them issues.
