I can’t find a good picture, but a 3 stone with an otherwise plain or engraved band. I particularly love when the side stones are colored.

I think a single gold band (2-4 mm) is the most classic of all!

I read this post and didn’t respond, but now that I read it, I’ve started to see solitaires in platinum or yellow gold with tapered baguette side stones EVERYWHERE. Why did I never notice them before? It seems like all the recently engaged women I know have pave or a halo or both, and all of the more classic rings have those tapered baguettes with a rounded shank.
