Hmm.  Very weird and definitely disturbing.  Why do they even make bathing suits like that for small children?  Reminds me of articles I’ve read about how they make padded training bras for kids.

God forbid…but if that little girl were to get molested or abused the mother would be (possibly) worried and crying then. It isn’t until things happen that people (some) take heed.

I don’t think the word sexy should EVER be used to describe someone under the age of 18……gross….

Eeeek. That’s horrible. I would imagine she might have gotten pretty PO’ed at you if you had said something anyway… unless you just said how cute the one-piece suit was, maybe? That is SO sad.

That’s just awful!!! What in the world?! A little girl doesn’t need anything written on any undergarmets. Sadly, they are bought so that’s why they are still being produced.

@Mattel – seriously?  atraining bra w/ “glamorous” on it?  What ever happened to the plain white cotton ones we all had growing up?!?

Our generation (and previous ones) NEVER had the skanky outfits they do now!!  Its sad but I think that some parents forget they are CHILDREN, not grown ups and should dress accordingly.

My SIL bought my neice a training bra at NINE.  I was like “How much training does she need??  It’s a fricken BRA!”  Sexualizing children.  And you wonder why 12 year olds are getting pregnant?

There is pressure in the UK to ban the selling of such items.  It is sick and twisted.  I shudder to think of how over sexed these girls will be when they hit 13!  So sad!
