I found out last weekend that my Future Mother-In-Law and Future Father-In-Law danced their first dance to ‘Stranglehold’ by Ted Nugent. We all absolutely fell about laughing, and then Future Father-In-Law played it – some of the lyrics are
“Got you in a stranglehold baby, You best get out of the way”
Just made me wonder if anyone knows of any other slightly weird choices of song for a first dance 🙂

We were considering using the Andy Caine version of “Sex Bomb.” I still laugh every time I hear it.

I keep telling Fiance we’re going to do Justin Timberlake’s “Dick in a box”

I heard of a couple that she walked down the aisle to “Love comes walking in” with the lyrics “You are my master, and I am your slave in chains” or something like that, ewwww.

My Fiance wanted “Crazy Bitch” by Buckcherry. Look up the lyrics, they are too crude to post here

I went to a wedding where they used “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt. My husband also had a friend that used “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2!
My parents had the theme from Love Story at their wedding, after the DJ informed them he didn’t have “This is Dedicated to the One I Love”, which they had asked for. My mom was MAAAAD! She said to me, “Yeah, really romantic, she DIES!” So I played their requested first dance song at my wedding for them. 🙂

My sister did ZZTop Sharp Dressed Man. A little odd, but it was cute.

I really wanted to inlcude Gold Digger in our wedding day/reception music, but Fiance put his foot down. Honestly I just love that song! Also, “It’s Getting Hot in Here”, but oh wells.

I wanted to do “Move Bitch” by Luda for the garter toss. My Future Mother-In-Law vetoed that since DH’s grandma might have had a heart attack. So sad 🙁

@SoontobeMrsA: If you do that, you will seriously be my hero! I love it!

@lola2011: Haha, we had Golddigger! At first we really tried not to have any ‘wedding inappropriate songs’, but then we realized there were some we just liked too much not to have.

My friend’s first dance was to “Lips of an Angel.”
I was like ummmmm isn’t that about cheating lol

This isn’t a first dance song, but when my grandmother was younger, she played organ for wedding ceremonies. She got a request from a pregnant woman to play “You’re Having My Baby” as the woman walked down the aisle. Even though she was fairly liberal, she flat out refused.
