What are those memories that make you think, “Man, that was a great wedding!”
Last summer the DJ at a girlfriends wedding had all the guys to one side, girls to the other and each group had a mic. We battled out “Paradise By The Dashboard Lights” and it was phenomenal! We’re are a pretty dramatic bunch (drama and music kids back in the day) so he knew it would be a hit. Some of the best photos from the night! We are considering having a list of really upbeat songs that will keep people dancing that guest could karaoke! A few of my bridesmaids an I have a great memory of karaoke’ing “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and would love to do it again! I also read about a bride and groom ending the night singing Journey and everyone loving it!
What does it for you??

I remember something about each of the weddings I’ve attended.
My mom and (step)dad’s: Toward the end of the night, my SIL rounded up all of the guests to form a circle around my parents while they were dancing. Absolutely melted my heart, and what a great picture!!
My friend Mariah’s: Her 3-year-old daughter apparently could not wait until after the ceremony to be held, so during the lighting of the unity candle, she screamed, “DADDY!!!” and ran up the aisle. They both picked her up and they lit the unity candle as a family. Best interruption of a wedding EVER.
My sister’s: She barfed. Granted it was in the bathroom, but still. (She’s now divorced but engaged to a FANTASTIC guy. Talk about foreshadowing lmao)

@VineyardBride105: I will only remember a wedding for all of the wrong reasons…trust me, you don’t want to have the kind of wedding that stands out from all the nuptuals I’ve attended….I’ve seen a bride toted away in handcuffs, the groom faint, a ring bearer hurl on the rings, a fist fight between mothers, a run away baked alaska trolley and failed parking break which landed a limo in a pool…..so while I never walk away from a wedding with, “Wow was that great!” on my lips, Mr. 99 and I have driven home with eyes wide in awkward silence until one of us mutters, “Wow…didn’t see that comin…did you?”
