One Valentines day we took a mini trip out of town. When we got to our hotel my husband had me wait in the car (he was my Fiance at that time) while he checked us in. Once we got to our hotel room he opened the door & there was pink rose petals leading from the door to the bed & all over the bed & the room was lit with candles. πŸ™‚

I think on our first anniversary we booked into a hotel after enjoying a lovely meal together. Candles, music, flowers, lovely. Not so much these days though, oh well!

I never had anything that was so romantic regarding candles, rose petals, etc.  But our sex life is awesome that it’s always romantic in it’s own way.

My favorite is when he wakes me up in the night by touching me and then we start kissing. πŸ™‚ Gives me goosebumps!

I second the middle of the night sex. its spontaneous and passionate and more intimate in some way if that makes sense. I am not good with romance in general lol. I get all awkward with candles or rose petals or soft music playing or anything even close to being like that. my SO knows that so romance has to be handled differently with me but thats one of the ways that works for me.

Oooh middle of the night is fun. As for one specific time, the night we got engaged is definitely up there. Nothing especially romantic (no flowers, candles, etc) but there was just something different about it. Good times. πŸ™‚

There was the night he lit candles throughout the bedroom and scattered rose petals all over the bed before I got home, then presented me with a bouquet of roses when I walked through the door. The sex that night was somehow sweet and intense at the same time. The thing that stands out for me the most, though, was how the rose petals stained our skin and the sheets. For some reason, that was so sexy to me.

I have to agree with the middle of the night crowd.

My fiance’s not one for candles or rose petals either, but he once unexpectedly carried me up a steep staircase into the bedroom.  We were young and I was a bit lighter!  πŸ˜‰

Sex after a long absence is always passionate as well!

When I came back from a semester abroad. After 5 months without seeing each other we had that ‘Dear John’ scene in the bus station and after that GREAT sex, it was amazing but it was also romantic cause we kept looking at each other and touching each others face just to make sure it was real. (cheesy I know)

middle of the night.. YES!!  For us it always happens at around 2-3am and usually we both happen to wake up at the same time or we just can’t sleep well that night.  It is amazing…….. once before we go to sleep… then in the middle of the night.. then some good ol’ morning sex.  I love it…  Also has anyone tried in the bath tub?  That can be quite an experience lol πŸ˜›
