My save the dates were little paper planes with a little tag hanging (to look like those advertising planes) with our website address, but folding all of them and making all of the tags was a pain! After this we decided to make simpler invitations, we designed and printed newspaper-like invitations and it looked like a tiny newspapers. 🙂 I’m really proud of them, everyone loved it! No pictures unfortunately…

yt2686:  Thanks! It’s definitely possible, but depending o the size of your guestlist/wedding party, it’s a huge time investment. I recommend going for easier/faster flowers for the bulk of your flowrs and then use more time consuming/intricate ones for accents!

I love lilies but they are so expensive. I ordered a 11 bunches of fake ones on ebay from China. They arrived smashed. I individually sprayed each one with downy wrinkle releaser, clothes pined it open, and let it dry. It took 2 days to turn 121 flowers into 10 small table arrangements, 4 larger table arrangements, 5 corsages, 4 boutonieres, a small flower girl bouquet, and my large bouquet. You can see some of the examples below. I used floral tape to hold them together. I used camo duct tape to decorate the mason jars. I also put the duct tape on the stems of the corsages, boutonieres, and bouquets. I’m going to add clear water beads and lights in the mason jars for the table arrangements.  I already had the mason jars, grand total $143.

I cheated on my invites. I wanted them to look professional without the cost. I am really good in Microsoft Word so I created my invites and RSVP cards. Uploaded them to Vista Print. Their card stock is a good weight, their free envelopes are extremely thin. I added a small decal from ebay to the back of the envelope. 70 invites including postage for the invite and RSVP cards $172.

I still have to add some camo cloth to my wedding dress. I’m just waiting on it to be hemed.

I’m going to make my own cake. I made my sister’s wedding cake, so it’s not my first rodeo. I bought camo sugar sheets to put on it. That master peice should take 2 days (1 day cooking, 1 day decorating).

Probably would have to be my diamond piñata for my bridal  shower (I wanna get tipsy and take a few swings lol I love piñatas!)  it was originally going to be a Diamond ring… But that was taking Way too long. About 4 hours… But only a dollar to make! Probably gonna put some tassels hanging from it… If you guys have any non sexual things to fill it with that’d be cool 🙂 I was just gonna do chocolates… What girl doesn’t have a chocolate stash? Also… I’m sure your invites Look great! It’s the little details that count 🙂
