The most unique food I’ve had at a wedding was all breakfast food.  It was a Saturday wedding around 4:00 pm, so it was surprising to me.  They had biscuits and gravy, French toast, fruit, muffins, etc.  It was pretty yummy, but definitely different!

My friend got married a year ago in Marseille. One of the entrees was foie gras ice cream.

Another one of my friend’s had five different weddings cakes, and each guest got a bit of each cake (I think they were different fruit and chocolate flavors). Mabe it’s not unique, but 4 years later I still remember it as being really good:

And this isn’t really a unique food, but this was my saving grace at my wedding – as soon as we arrived for the reception the caterer found my husband and I and gave us a tray with food, with had a drink holder. I ate at my own wedding dear lord! I sincerely hope every bride has these trays along with an attentive caterer who made sure my husband and I always had a full glass and a chance to eat our own food.
