Instead of tossing the bouquet, I am passing my bouquet off to my mom and then doing a Mother Daughter dance at my wedding. I know I will be a little choked up so I just wanted to have the band give a quick intro/blurb about me not throwing the bouquet and how special my mom is. Stuck on the wording – any suggestions? And has anyone seen this before and remember what they said?

What about something along the lines of…
Boston Bride has opted not to toss her bouquet, as there is someone special in her life she’d like to honor. Mom, you have been there for BostonBride over the years and she’d like to thank you for all that you have done. Will you please join your daughter on the dance floor?
Not sure how to include giving her the bouquet, maybe at the end of the dance, your new husband can hand her the bouquet.

OOoohh that’s short and sweet but still meaningful.

That’s perfect I think, what a sweet way to honor her.

I saw this at a wedding over the weekend, it was really sweet. I wish I could remember what they said!
