My Fiance has put me in charge of finding a song for him and his mom to dance to at our wedding in 7 weeks. Any suggestions? They are not super close and at times have a love- hate relationship. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

we did a combined mother/son uncle/bride (my uncle gave me away) dance to In My Life by the Beatles.
What a Wonderful World is always a hit too. it’s not too specific but it’s pretty and it’s very short.

I am all about trying to find alternative choices for these dances, because my Fiance and I are big music people.Â
I think "Upward Over the Mountain" by Iron & Wine is the most beautiful mother/son song ever made – the trouble is, it’s a bit long so it may not make the cut, but that song chokes me up.
"Kind And Generous" by Natalie Merchant is a great option.Â
And Sarah MacLaughlan does a great cover of "The Rainbow Connection" – it’s sweet and sentimental without being overly emotional.Â

I will be there for you – by Jessica Andrews
Eva Cassidy also does some nice versions of "What a Wonderful World" and "Over the Rainbow"
"Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kwamik’ole

what about Landslide by Fleetwood Mac?
took my love and I took it downClimbed a mountain and turned aroundAnd I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills’til the landslide brought it downOh, mirror in the sky -What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin’…ocean tidesCan I handle the seasons of my life?I don’t know…..I don’t knowWell I’ve been afraid of changin’because I’ve built my life around youBut time makes you bolder, even children get olderAnd I’m getting older too….So, take my love…take it downClimb a mountain and turn aroundand if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills…well the landslide will bring it downThe landslide will bring it down
