My mom passed away 11 years ago, so I won’t have one for her, but for FI’s mom, I am going to get a brooch from here instead. I am not having real flowers for the wedding or reception because I am allergic.

I did corsages for my mom and Mother-In-Law – – I had the option of doing Tussy Mussies. I asked what they wanted and they both wanted corsages so thats what we did Wink

I DIY’d my flowers, and had some leftover so we made corsages for the moms and grandmas, but it wasn’t in the original plan.

We got them bouquets. Future Mother-In-Law thinks that corsages are old ladyish. My mom didn’t care so I picked out small stephanotis bouquet for them.

i think it’s sort of a regional thing. in the south, pin-on corsages are the norm. there are a lot of options though: pin-on corsages, wrist corsages, corsages that pin on a purse, mini bouquets, etc.

We did pin corsages, not the wrist type.

I gave the mothers and grandmother the option of doing a wrist or pin corsage; they all chose wrist.

I would ask your mom what she wants. Our wedding was very untraditional and informal, so I assumed we’d just go without them to save money. But my mom was with me at the florist and she got really excited when coursages were mentioned, so of course I was going to get them for her and my mil.

I don’t know yet.  I really don’t like them.  But if my mom or Future Mother-In-Law want to wear one, then we’ll get them.
