That sounds adorable! Make sure you are looking at florists now. the few I talked to said either they are going charge me twice as much for mother’s day weekend or not do it at all. although for 10k, i am not sure it will make much of a difference. Maybe have free drinks for all mothers (or a special drink)

I think your guests will be fine with your decision. As long as people know ahead when there is a social occasion on a holiday, they can make arrangements. I think the picture display is great. If the budget will handle a special drink, you could also do that.

Perhaps you could do something either on the placecards or the backs of the chairs of all the Moms or a little nosegay of flowers .

Ah finally! A date twin! 🙂

Were giving each mom who attends a embroidered handkerchief with our initials and dates and giving them a special toast.

Best wishes and congratulations on your wedding, hosting a wedding on mother’s day is such an exciting and memorable experience and I am looking forward to it, too!

Hey! Date Twin here!

Our guest list blossomed from the 50 we wanted to well over 150 (parents…ugh.) so I am hoping that the whole mothers day (and not having children) will shave the list down a bit…hehehe.

we will probably make a toast to all the mothers, but not do much more than that…simple and classy.

We also picked Mothers Day for our Wedding day. I am going to try and do something special to recognize all of the moms at our special day!
