Yeah that would make me uncomfortable if I heard it at a wedding. Definitely a love song.

HECK NO!!! So creepy, but sometimes guy’s don’t pay close attention and are clueless. My husband suggested one song and I had to point out the lyrics to him and said if he truly thinks that to tell me right then and there so I could pack and a bag and go. He didn’t realize what the actual words said until then.

    Here are the lyrics:

It’s late in the evening; she’s wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, “Do I look all right?”
And I say, “Yes, you look wonderful tonight.”

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that’s walking around with me.
And then she asks me, “Do you feel all right?”
And I say, “Yes, I feel wonderful tonight.”

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don’t realize how much I love you.

It’s time to go home now and I’ve got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, “My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight.”

A bit strange to me…especially knowing there are TONS of options out there for Moms and Sons.

Yeah, I’m using that as my first dance with FH, so I don’t really see it working for mother/son.  Kinda weird.

Your poll question is backwards from the title of the post, so that might confuse people.  For the record, I think it’s definitely weird.

Yup. I’m definitely in the “creepy” camp on this one.

ETA: The poll question is different from the title, so I voted incorrectly. I meant to say “no” it’s not appropriate.

My vote is for ick…”you were wonderful tonight?” …doesn’t exactly bring pure thoughts to mind.
