I have been engaged since July. Losing 5-10 pounds would be great but mostly I just want to tone up. I don’t know what I need to do to get myself moving or get a system worked out. I know I want and need to do this for myself. What motivation boosters, ideas or secrets’ does everyone’s else have

@Fall2013: Find a friend who is a huge pain in the butt to drag you to the gym. Haha! 😉 That’s my fitness plan anyway. Good luck!!

Have you tried setting goals w/ prizes?
Eg: if I go running for 3 miles 4x this week, I get to treat myself to a mani/pedi
Finding a routine or knowing what to do is hard, you should combine some sort of strength/resistance training with cardio. Maybe run 2x a week and buy a yoga dvd and do yoga at home 2x a week? You can prob do yoga 4x a week and lose 5-10lbs and tone up all at once though, yoga rocks. Also, consider pilates.

Core fusion dvd’s! I used to workout at exhale spas and it’s the most amazing workout ever! Don’t forget about cardio too- super important.
