Is there someone you can make gym dates with? I just started doing this with a friend, we committ to going to spin class twice a week and it is a lot easier to get going when you know you have to meet someone and would be letting them down if you bail!!

Hey!  We’re almost date twins 🙂

I’m in the same boat, I used to be so dedicated to the gym but the past year its been a struggle.  The lack of energy is my issue.  I don’t know where it went or how to get it back.  But, the thing that always motivates me is a goal, I have to have an event to lose the weight by.  It doesn’t even have to be an important event, just something I’d like to look good at.  In this case, I have a huge event!  Its the only thing that really works in my head.  I think, after the holidays the motivation will kick in and I’ll be in good shape… lets hope!

Oh gosh, I’m in the SAME boat. I’ve never been able to get up in the AM and work out, because everytime I’ve done so I get tired during the day. But I used to work out during the night time.

Some things that get me motivated is just critique myself in the mirror…LOL, silly…I know, but it at least gives me motivation to get rid of my “love handles”. 🙂

Do you have the Wii? Maybe you could try out their work out program – I don’t have it, but it looks awesome!

I need some motivation too, so I’ll be checking back to see if anyone’s come up with anything!!

Agree with Jennifer!  Have a goal “event” or train for a specific event…like a 5K or something.  It will keep you on track.

I’ve had various stints of really good regular working out.  The one thing that would get me out of bed every morning was telling myself, “You’ll never regret working out.”  You may or may not regret not working out, but you’ll definitely never regret working out.  It gets me out of bed every morning
