I officially have two weeks left before I have to go back to work…I’ve been on surgical leave. I haven’t lost a pound and I need to lose at least 30. What can I do to help change my life around. I’ve cut down on drinking alcohol and I went out and bought a ton of lean cuisines so I can start portion control and counting calories but I have no idea what exercises I can do…I’m limited because I had bilateral foot surgery. I have a balance ball, wii fit, free weights, stairs, and an elliptical. How long do I work out and how many calories a day can I have? How can I get motivation and keep it? Please help me I’m so tired of being overweight. I put on 30 pounds when I met Chad and I just dont want to be a heifer anymore.

I put on 40 lbs since the mr. and i got together and i have 6 months to get it off!
I keep a pic of my dress on my computer and the model who is wearing it looks fab and i am going to strive to get my lbs off so i can rock it way better than the model! Also, i have to keep in mind that i am currently the heaviest of my bridal party, that will NOT be the case on my wedding day!

Check out http://www.sparkpeople.com, they have a calorie counter as well as great recipes submitted by other people so you know they work. I am in the same boat as you and Christmas sure didn’t help the situation! Best of luck! And if you’re looking for some exercise try Couch to 5k (just google it)

Joining you guys as well… To keep me motivated is M.. he seems to think it’s cute that I want to lose weight and is helping… after I get engaged I will tape a friggin’ silhouette of a drerss on my fridge and pantry door.. but yeah I have gained about 35 lbs since I had the mirena and I lost 10 originally and sprouted another 10 over the holidays. My prob is i am a SNACKER
