I need some help! When I asked different friends and family of the older generation what they like to dance to at our reception, they all said Motown or 60’s! I am sure if I heard some danceable Motown songs I would recognize them, but trying to pull them from memory! I don’t know where to start! Suggestions? Thanks!

Well, I don’t know if this counts, but it does in my mind. I love Earth, Wind, & Fire! September is one of my all time favorite songs and they have so many other good ones. Also, lots of Michael Jackson. A good way to get some ideas would be to set up a station on Pandora station using a song or artist you like and just start jotting down songs that come up.

The Temptations! I have a lot of songs of their on my workout mix, so it must be good for dancing, too! 🙂
@Jaynee: I agree that “September” is a fun one!
