my fiance and I are having a wedding that will be destination for most of our guest. I grew up in a small resort town in colorado that we both now live in. Most of our family and friends are coming from NY, CA, and WA. despite this being a local wedding, we have to somewhat treat it as a destination wedding. We have arranged to have all our out of town guest stay at our venue, which is a rustic collection of redone 1800 mining cabins. My question is how many meals are we expected to pay. I am of the mindset that all the cabins come with kitchens and our guest can provide their own food (minus the rehearsal dinner and the reception) while my fiance thinks we should provide other meals like light breakfast and lunch. I would agree with him if we could afford it, but we are struggling to have any wedding at all. what do you all think?
