Finally! I’ve been dying to see these, and they are gorgeous! And your shoes…seriously, they are to die for. Such a beautiful, romantic venue. Gives me goosebumps!

GORGEOUS Pics… thanks for sharing them

I have to say my faves are the ones that have something distinct about them (be it the Canadian flavour… or just you two), so

# 1 and # 2 for the two of you and the Mountains

# 5 for the Rings & Wild Holly (something you don’t see very often in Wedding Pics)

# 7 for your Shoes (Green is great… it ties in so well with the lushness of the foliage around you)

# 9 for the incredible canoe shot (this photo is truly STUNNING)

and # 10 the Black & White of the two of you… so perfect in sooo many ways.  Your loving look, the cuteness of you guys getting your feet wet in a Glacier Lake (so Canadian with the rolled up pants and hiked up dress… some of our Mountain Lakes being too cold to swim in… but we always seem to be drawn to at least getting our feet wet)

I bet that the last pic looks good in colour too… with the Tourquoise of the Glacial Lake.

I hope my Elopement Pics turn out half this good.

Beautiful! Incidentally, as I clicked on the link title before reading your post I was thinking to myself ‘ I hope OP’s post is about the Candian Rockies. That’s where I would go and elope! Wouldn’t it be funny if the OP was at Emerald Lake Lodge?’ Lo and behold, it was and you did! Sppoky!

Your pics are lovely and the venue stunning (I should know – I used to work for their head office a few years ago). Hope you had an awesome time! If we had gone down the elopement route, I think we would have done the same thing! As it is, I’m now back in Europe and my SO has a large and very excitable family who would have been upset if we’d married without them. We had a great day, but maybe in a few years I’ll persuade him to take me there for an anniversary!
