I would use yelp to get some real and true reviews if you don’t get any info from the bees….but if I know fellow bees they’ll step up and help you out…..If you lived in S. Cali I would definitely help out….good luck!

We just did this yesterday! Hahaha!  It started a few weeks ago when we had a bunch of companies come through our place (NW suburb of the Chi).  We went with National Van Lines.  They were well priced, had excellent reviews, and were knowledgeable about everything.  They came through yesterday precisely on time and within 2 hours (plus 1 hour to get the truck lined up, inventory taken, and some papers signed) had our overflowing 1 bd apt in the truck.  THey took care of our belongings and were trustworthy guys.

My husband is already out in CO, so I’ll be joining in June when school is over.  My parents are doing the same, and they went with Atlas.  Unfortunately I didn’t have them as one of the people giving us estimates.  I’m curious how they would have matched up.

THe companies we had come through were STI, Mayflower, Allied Vans and National Van Lines.  Good luck in your hunt.  My suggestion is if the companies call you to set up an estimate answer their calls right away.  I didn’t because I was super busy.  Some companies called me 5 times a day everyday!  …anywho Good Luck!

Atlas Van Lines. I moved from Florida to the state of Washington and they were amazing and super helpful. Definitely look at the better business bureau before you commit to anyone!
