PS I Love you. I can’t imagine losing my husband, and I thought the emotions in that movie were very real. The boy in the striped pajamas is another one. That movie really shook me. I made my daughter watch it. I feel like my own generation is so far removed from the horrors of the holocaust that we need to remember and make sure the younger generations really understand what happened. Yes, human beings are capable of unimaginable evil. Yes, you should always hold leaders to intense scrutiny, and no one person should have ultimate authority/power. I’ve seen to many people blindly follow political leadets in the US based solely on their party or religion. It scares me.

The Way is beautiful movie about life. Son dies traveling the El Camino de Santiago and his Dad decides to complete the journey for his son while he’s there to pick up his sons body. He meets many other people that are on this journey and become close knit family during their walk. Very moving movie.

Trainspotting.  I hate that movie (it’s a good movie though) because of how it has stayed with me and opened my eyes to things I didn’t want to really know.

Bridey77:  this is kind of a weird one but Cloud Atlas. I had to watch it 3 or 4 times to fully understand it lol but it’s really good! I know at the end I cry every time! It’s a very different sort of movie, I had never seen anything like it!

happyhealthy87:  That reminds me of Donnie Darko.  There are so many theories and interpretations of the meaning behind that movie.  I have watched it 3 or 4 times and stil notice new things. Layers on Layers.

Interstellar. I came out of the theatre going “uhh” and couldn’t think for three days straight. Such an intense movie!
