Movies?  Nah…find another way to distract yourself.  Go for walks.  Work out.  Read lots of books.  Start a new project.  Learn a new hobby.  Bake or cook new recipes.  There is SO MUCH to do to keep busy.

There has been a Harry Potter Marathon on our cable all week, that is a long series that is distracting. Pretty much anything you like that is not wedding related.

Singin’ in the Rain is my go to movie for almost anything – sick, tired, feeling down, feeling happy, any other excuse!

I love romantic drama! Because I just love love and romance. So I’d watch these:

the Notebook
the Time Traveller’s Wife

Oh! To really get me distracted? I’d attempt to watch the following:

Making a Murderer
Josef Fritzl: Story of a Monster

Both doco’s on Netflix. So not exactly movies. But definitely major distractions!

Otherwise, I’ve learnt to write my feelings relating to waiting and impending proposal down in a journal that I carry around with me every day. Try it if it’s something you’re open to doing.

lagavulin:  I suggest cooking. Try out some new recipes you would like to use on your future family (in laws) but also maybe kids if you don’t have any yet? ๐Ÿ˜‰ My boyfriend and I like to cook together and I’m also a bit old school so I like cooking for my man when I can. It can be really relaxing as well! ๐Ÿ˜€

Also, if you haven’t watched Game of Thrones, that might be something to keep you busy ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh, what about the whole season of the Gilmore Girls? I just love them. I’ve the box set, too. Hehehe!

Or instead of movies, what about a reality TV show series like Flipping Out? I did that and boy was I hooked!

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Twlight (my guilty pleasure), some romantic Bollywood movies, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Les Mis, Amadeus, The Little Princess, The Princess Bride, Catch Me If You Can, and Deadpool just came out on BlueRay if you haven’t checked that out yet and like dry, sarcastic humour.

TV wise, I’ve recently marathoned Greys Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Sex & the City, The Mindy Project, Once Upon A Time, Friends, Mozart in the Jungle and Reign.

I’m a huge movie/tv junkie too!
