Me too!  We’re moving about a week after the wedding, to a new place for both of us.  I think maybe its easier for me because I haven’t lived near my family since I graduated college.  its still gonna be crazy though!

Maybe you should tell your family to start planning their first trip out to visit you now!

It will be such an adventure, I promise!  I moved across the county and while it is scary and stressful, you will have your best friend there- make a point to join the local online sites of stuff to do, get out of the house one weekend and try a new neighborhood, find a favorite restaurant, just make sure you get out, out, out and explore!

I feel you!  My future in-laws had offered to move all of our stuff to our new place, so when we came back from our honeymoon we could go straight there.  That seemed like a really cool idea, until I realized it would mean saying good-bye to all local people AT my wedding.  So now the plan is to come back after the honeymoon to say good-bye and then move.

Is there any way to change the date of the move?  Even if it was to move all of your stuff before the wedding, to get that out of the way.
