Hi Aussie bees! I need a hand. Fiance and I just found out that we will be moving to Australia about 2 weeks after the wedding. We are beyond excited but now our wedding gifts have become a source of stress- we can’t bring them with us, and storing them for 2-3 years while we have to set up a home from scratch on the other side of the world seems inefficient.
So we have decided to register in Australia so we can pick up our gifts when we arrive.
Question is this: where do bees register in Oz?
Also, is there anything ridiculously expensive there that we should try to bring from Canada?

weddinggiftsdirect.com.au – they stock everything, your guests can order online and they don’t charge for domestic delivery (since you’ll be moving here). Good luck! 🙂

Thanks! That looks amazingly convenient.

Have only come across this thread – i would say that most couples register at Myers or David Jones, but i’m thinking that may be difficult for you as i don’t belive they offer an online service.
I’m very tempted to go with Peter’s of Kensington – the prices are very reasonable, & cheaper than the other department stores. They also do delivery Australia wide. And you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
Let us know which way you choose to go 🙂
