I don’t think it’s a big deal if it’s just mickey and minnie.. if it says Mr. and Mrs. on it, then it would be a little strange.

I think it’s weird to have “bridal” things or “Mr and Mrs” things on display before two people are engaged and planning a wedding at the very least. So yes, I would put those things in the attic until that time. I don’t think that waiting 6 months until you’re engaged to put a decoration like that up is a long time.

I don’t want to do this to you, but maybe the ring is coming soon?  I don’t know too many guys who will start buying Mr. and Mrs. stuff before they are pretty sure that they are going to get down on one knee.

I don’t think it’s weird if you guys have already talked about it and know you’re getting engaged.  It sounds like he’s really dropping some hints though!!

i don’t think it’s weird to buy things like that before you’re engaged/married, as long you both know that your relationship is headed in that direction soon, but i wouldn’t use/display anything yet. i’d just put them away in a safe place and bust them out the day after the wedding, haha.

we’re obsessed with disney (i’m going to the parks tomorrow- last trip before our passes expire :() and we have a few mickey and minnie bride/groom items ourselves, including the engagment ring christmas ornament. my mom gave it to us the year we got engaged.

leisha606:  yes, that is definitely on our to-do list. being a child of the 80’s and big mj fan, i love captain eo and i hate hearing the rumors going around that it will be closing for good soon, so we’re definitely going to make sure we check it out one more time.

leisha606:  Yeah, it’d be weird to display Mr and Mrs stuff.

But if you’re confidently headed that way you could totally stick it in the attic and then pull it out later on. One thing that does come to mind: maybe he’s throwing out hints! You know, trying to muster up his courage to propose by getting positive reactions from you. I think his pointing out these things is a very good sign indeed. 🙂
