I know someone else mentioned this, but I think this advice can really be extended to helping maining a healthy relationship in general, especially if you’ve found that you’ve gotten yourselves into a rut.

I agree w/Mrs. DG!  This should be a book! Or it would also be really fun to see a man’s perspective sometimes on the main blog!

Mr Bee= awesome. It is frustrating to feel like you are powerless in a decision that feels like it should be made together! What excelent advice!!!

Mr. Bee, I bow down to you and your wisdom!  Your 3 step plan & backup plan will surely help MANY ladies out there, and to think, this is free advice!  If you wrote a book on this topic I know I’d buy it for friends, I have one particular in mind who could REALLY use it!

Mr. Bee, you are awesome.

And I agree with Mrs DG and the others  – this should be a book.  It would be the next big thing, kinda like the book (and later movie,)  “He’s Just Not That Into You.”   – Except, they are into you, but just how to take it to the next level… I think you know what I mean.

This is not just an amazing plan for how to get engaged, but a recipe for a happy, healthy marriage! The importance of taking care of yourself and having your own hobbies and friends that are separate from those the two of you have together is paramount. I’m convinced it’s the secret sauce.

You are awesome, Mr. Bee! All this advice is great!

Fiance and I had a wedding date and were planning before he proposed, so my “waiting” journey was a little different than some, but it was still really hard to wait 5 months from when we decided to get engaged until when he proposed and I got my ring. I did nag some and looking back, that didn’t make him save up money any faster, it just put a wedge between us.

And I’m with EJS (I think that’s who said it! Too lazy to go back and look) that your Backup plan is good for any time you want a fresh start in your relationship. It’s like the personal Golden Rule – treat yourself how you want to be treated!

Amazing, Mr. Bee! I still say it’s too too bad that I hadn’t discovered WB in the waiting process. It would have really helped, but alas! I can pass the knowledge onto other waiting ladies πŸ™‚

The back-up plan is great advice for all people, no matter what state their relationship is in. People can’t love you, because they can’t KNOW you, if you are not being yourself. πŸ™‚

If you wrote a book it could be called something like “He just IS that into you.”  πŸ™‚
