We have decided to start TTC this winter! I am going to get some pre-natal vitamins along with taking my multi vitamin. What else should I do bees to get in tip top shape? Should I start running again? Maybe just walking? Anything good I should eat (diabetic friendly, please!)
Oh & YES I did do fist pumps last night & scream with excitement! My husband has always been ready. He has just been waiting on me to say GO. Well GO GO GOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sorry bees. I am pretty excited & REALLY hope I get pregnant fast!
Last time (MC) I got pregnant within 4 months of trying. That was without charting & just going about our sex life as usual. Should I chart this time?
My doctor gave me the go ahead in Febuary. Obviously I waited a while longer. Honestly I was thinking 5 years from now, maybe a bit sooner. But I have been hit with baby fever & the fear of having another MC has went away!
Lets all just hope for a fast pregnancy & sticky baby! 🙂

Taking prenatals and being as healthy as you can are good starts. If you are a diabectic chances are you eat fairly hralthy as it is so I would just keep on your normal routine. I would never TTC without charting however if you are young and in no rush I think it would be totally normal to just stop preventing and see what happens. Best of luck to you!

How exciting! Others may have a better idea on the running – but walking is definitely a good idea. You’ll want to start the prenatals soon. You definitely don’t need to chart but it will probably help things happen faster. I charted mostly because I like knowing what my body is doing! Good luck!

I think charting definitely helps, at least opk results to help with timing. 🙂

Yey!!! Good luck to you both! Check that your Pre-Natal Vits have Folic Acid in them. In the UK it is recommended that you start taking them before you get pregnant as they minimise the risk of Spina Bifida.

Yayyy!!! Good luck! I started working out more about 6 months ago, next month will be the first month that we truly start trying to conceive, I’ve gotta learn all about charting and OPK’s and all of the other abbreviations on here that I don’t know about lol. I think if you want to get pregnant quickly, charting is the way to go. If you want to be able to exercise during your pregnancy you have to be doing the exercise before you get pregnant. So for me, if I had gotten pregnant 6 months ago I wouldn’t have been able to exercise while I was pregnant because it would have been too much of a shock, but since I’ve been doing zumba regularly and other workouts I should be able to work out a couple of times a week during my pregnancy, obviously just monitoring my heartrate and temperature and things like that. If you want to run during your pregnancy definitely start running now.

Congrats! Definitely start taking a prenatal vitamin, but don’t take your regular vitamin with it. Just one is fine. Too many can be toxic.

Yaay! Good luck! Send lots of healthy baby dust your way.

Thank you so much everyone! I must learn everything charting! I signed up to fertilityfriend.com in hopes to learn more about it all. 🙂
@sit1010: Thanks for the tips! I don’t think I will start running, but walking & light exercising at home in front of the tv.
Anyone have any good pregnancy safe exercising tips or DVD’s?
@ChuckNorris: I am so glad I could have been a help to you & thank you so much for welcoming me! 🙂
