So my honey is a big fisherman. (Huge hobby of his – besides the skydiving, soccer and his new hobby – archery. I’ve got to say, I love his manly man side.)
I’m excited for him as he heads out on Lake Michigan this morning with his five groomsmen. They decided to take a fishing charter out on the Lake to fish for salmon. These boys have been fishing together for years and I know they will have a great time. I still think leaving at 4 am to go fishing in 45 degree weather is a bit nuts, but they love it and that’s what counts. I’m sure he will think it’s nuts when my bridesmaids and I come home at 4 am from dancing when its my turn for my bachelorette party.
I got up to make them coffee and bagels before they left but now I’m wide awake 🙁 So I decided to post something happy about the wedding since I seem to run here when things get crazy and wanted to post some happy news too 🙂
Tell me about your man’s bachelor party – traditional night out on the town? guy’s activity like fishing? or something different?

Were having both our nights in 3 weeks time.
From what Ive heard its going to be at the best mans house, and is going to include the usual bucks (bachelor) night things but is also going to include inflatable wrestling and other inflatable games in his huge back yard lol. That part sounds like fun!

My Fiance is going SHARK fishing this weekend at a bachelor party too (not his party yet!) They left at 4:30 too. Guys are crazy!

I like how active our guys are!
My Fiance is going to play board and card games with his friends and then maybe go to Dave and Busters.

My husband’s Bridesmaid or Best Man had a limo pick him up at noon on a Saturday 3 weeks before our wedding, destination unknown (to him, I knew). They proceeded to take him for a matinee of Rock of Ages on Broadway, then to Wolfgang Puck’s steak house for dinner (OMG it was pricey–dinner alone for 6 men was $1700!!!). Dropped him off just after midnight…he was way tipsy and SO happy…I’d been getting sweet texts a few times and he came home raving about Rock of Ages and how much it made him realize how awesome I am and how much he loves me and how he can’t wait to get married…I have NO idea what part of that show triggered the love fest but I’m not complaining!
I think we are going to go see it together, he said it was great. We are 44, so 80s music is very nostalgic to us. We are big music fans, our first date in college in 1987 was to see U2, then after that summer we lost touch for 22 years, reconnected 3 years ago and the rest is history!
