Seriously, I have been married for 5 months now and not one person has called me Ms or Mrs. it is a non issue for me and I wouldn’t care either way.

I’m kinda psyched to be his Mrs! I’m a pretty staunch feminist and everything but I just think it’ll be fun to get to be Mrs. Hislastname. I do get why people would veer away from it but I kinda can’t wait.

I was under the impression that an unmarried woman may always be called Miss.  Regardless of age.  I’m 27 and still go by Miss.  Of course I would respect anyone that prefers Ms., which always seems appropriate.  When I’m married I’d like to go as Mrs., with my last name or in conjunction with my husbands name and Ms., if someone is using my first name.  Professionally, I’ll be Rev., so that’s easy, but I haven’t decided whether I’ll use that socially as well.  I’m a fan of Miss. Manners and tend to use her guidelines, but that may mean I’m a bit more old-fashioned than most.

Not married yet, but I cannot wait to be a Mrs! I can see myself correcting anyone who calls me Miss or Ms once I’m married.

I was always under the impression that Ms. was the title for UN-Married 18+ females and Mrs was the title for MARRIED women.

So technically while I’m 31 and until I marry I am Ms. Nurse Mandie.  Once I marry I am known as Mrs. Nurse Mandie. If I should (God forbid) get divorced I would go back to Ms. Nurse Mandie, even if I kept my married name.

I’m divorced, so I go by Ms. right now.  When married, I did before, and will again, go by Mrs.

Personally, I don’t care either way. I’m fine with Miss, Ms. or Mrs.

I hate the title “Ms.” I didn’t know about that over 18 thing. Lots of people now still call me “Miss”. Some people have started to call me “Mrs.” since I wear and engagement ring. But after marriage I’ll definately prefer “Mrs.”
