@IUrebekah3RT:  Before going in to try the dress I knew I would be ordering the Divina in blush, but once I tried it on, that went out the window! πŸ˜‰

This is what I will be wearing with my Divina, am stil undecided about a necklace though.Sorry the pics are GIGANTIC!

Im an ivory Divina bride as well!  Mine came in last week and I set my 1st fitting for the end of May.  The salon was booked all the way through April for Alterations but I think I will go just to try it on next week with the veil I bought off etsy to make sure it matches.

@IUrebekah3RT:  Love your shoes.   I think the only thing that I regret is not being able to wear a nice shoe. We are having a destination wedding so the wedding is on sand and the reception is outdoors.  I will have to wear a flat or a wedge to not sink in the grass.  I may slip in a pair of shoes for the “Trash the dress” session though.

@Luvnseptember:  Wow.  I didnt even take something like the alterations department being booked like that into consideration.  Good luck with your first fitting…take lots of pics πŸ™‚

So Im starting to reconsider my colors and its driving me crazy.   As much as I love the dress in blush it has definitely made the rest of the wedding colors complicated.  I have found some beautiful weddings online with a blush bride but the bridesmaids are usually wearing dark colors like plum, red or grey.  With it being beach I wanted to keep it light and was looking at white for my girls but I think seeing them in white made me have a little jealousy…like I passed up my white dress moment…lol.

Is everyone staying in their gown for the entire or wedding or do any of you have  reception dresses?

@queenbee33:  I thought about getting a reception dress but the only way I will is if I find a really really fab dress under $500.  Other than that it will be me and divina all night πŸ™‚

@IUrebekah3RT:  You have me reconsidering my shoes.   I am ok with not wearing heels on the beach but maybe I will try heels in the grass too…We’ll see.  Your wedding is coming up soon so you will have to let me know how it went.

@Luvnseptember:  I have been considering a reception dress as well but am not loving anything in the price range that I would have to stay in to get something.  Im a little worried that the divina will be hot and heavy to wear all night.  My Fiance’s family is carribean and they are going to expect me to dance…I want to be sure that I can. I was thinking I would try to find a destination dress that would be lighter but still bridal.
