Today I went to my hotel to meet with the event coordinator / caterering manager lady… and followed it up with a walk through with my photog and had a sit down over the pictures.
I WAS SO OVERWHELMED BY THE END OF THE 4-HOUR TOUR THAT I STARTED CRYING AT THE PHOTOG APPOINTMENT.
The kicker was that I felt the photography was so over scheduled that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the wedding day with my newly married husband.. but that along shouldn’t have made me cry.
Needless to say, I sent off an SOS email to my florist (who is also an event planner, but not my event planner, because I don’t have one…. yet). Hopefully I’ll have a meeting with her soon to set up a planning contract too. I’m mad that I’m spending *another grand* but I’m exhausted. I don’t want to deal with this anymore. 🙁
The future hubby said he was going to step up ‘his game’ because he didn’t realize until these back to back appointments how much effort this wedding thing really takes. I hope so because I’m over the wedding.. over.
The recent weeks I thought I was cool with it all. Thought it was going well. I just can’t figure out how all those DIY projects are going to be set up during the same time all those volunteers are going to be taking pictures!
