So I promised to post pictures of the dress for you all to see 🙂
I had my final measurements yesterday, and tried on the calico dress again. I was happy to find I have lost 5kgs and the dress was a bit too big!! Yay 🙂 I’ve been wanting to lose a bit for the last 2 years, and now finally have something that is giving me great incentive 😀
Below are some pictures of the original design we have chosen in calico. My Mum is off to the country today with my brother so will start the real dress tomorrow!!
It’s a little short on the right, but as I’m wearing flats it doesn’t need too much extra length.
I have posted a pic of the original dress here too 🙂
I am unusually excited about the back. I LOVE the lace up back!! It’s obvisouly not on the calico dress, but I have put a pic below the calico one of the original dress 🙂
The back is so beautiful!! Although it won’t have the bow from the flower sash, that will be fitted to the sides of the lace up part 🙂
And the train!! It will be a little shorter, but pretty much the same as the original dress.
I hope you enjoy! I will post more pictures tomorrow 🙂

@ProfessorGirl: Thank you! She has actually been a Dental Nurse for 34 years, but has a great gift when it comes to making dresses 🙂 She made my 18th and 21st birthday dresses which were gorgeous!!

Wow, incredible! My talented Mom is doing the alterations to my dress, so I know (at least a little), how special it will be to have your Mom do this for you.
