I think that you could use subtle hints of the muppets rather than obvious details. You could name your tables with a different muppet character. Also, similar to the picture above, use a lily pad with a pink fower a top as centerpices. Maybe use a long shallow glass box and place multiple lily pads with the light pink flowers on top of them. That to me would symbalize kermit and miss piggy. Could you pick a band that has a crazy drummer like animal? Hehe JK. Use details from the characters that are your favorite and work them into different pieces of your wedding. Good luck! 🙂

AH COOL!!! I love the Muppets! I think an easy way to incorporate the Muppets is through your color scheme – most people associate “Kermit green” with the Muppets. You could have a green and watermelon-colored wedding (the pink watermelon color being for Miss Piggy…) And you can play a couple Muppets songs at the reception! (My fave is their rendition of “She Drives Me Crazy”)
Sounds like a blast, good luck planning!!

This is the Muppet Boutoniere I had made by I Do Novelty on Etsy. I’m going to pare down the feathers a bit 🙂
By The Way….I told Fiance about your idea, and he said he wants to come to your wedding!

I love the muppets as well! And one of my all time favorite muppet movies is “The Muppets take manhattan” where Piggy and Kermit get married at the end.
You could work that awesome song into your entrance. Like flash mob style. With guests standing up and each singing a different line until the procession starts prefectly timed with your arrival as it winds up. Do you know the one I’m talking about?
Extra! Extra! Somebody’s getting married!
It’d be a nice way to honor you love for them without worrying about getting muppet “things” that might look tacky.

Defintely do what PP said about entering in with Somebody’s Getting Mawwww-red!
Also, you could get a vintage movie poster for the guest book. Definitely stay away from too many actual muppet chotchkies.
You said you were getting married in an old movie theatre, can you customize the marquee to read:Now Showing: The [your new last name]s Take [the name of city you’re gerring married in] as a nod to The Muppets Take Manhattan
