I LOVE the Dermalogica daily facial exfoliant, its the best product I think I’ve ever used. Its expensive but it lasts a really long time (I made mine last a year with alernating between that and the Biore exfoliant, which is the only other kind I will use since its the only kind that isnt rough).

It sounds like I have the same skin as you. Aside from the occasional pimple, which happens to EVERYONE, my skin stays really clear by using the Dermalogica exfoliant and Cetaphil cleanser in the shower, and putting on Cetaphil face lotion with spf 15 right after my shower. Everyone says I’m crazy to exfoliate every shower but the Dermalogica stuff is really gentle, and I don’t overwash or overmosturize my face so its what works for me. I really like Cetaphil products as well since they are so gentle and non fragrant.

I forgot to mention, I did try Dermalogica’s moisturizer and wasn’t a fan, but the cleanser was nice – just not worth the pricetag compared to Cetaphil which works great.

I think they’re both overpriced for what they do. You can find products that are just as good at the drugstore. Paulas Choice has some great products and advice on what to use.

I have never seen a product like theDerm. Mircofoliant at a drugstore, ever. Not in Canada at least. I would LOVE to find something cheaper, since it’s $70 up here (and $36 on a website I just found, that doesnt ship to Canada, arg!)

I LOVE Dermalogica.  It’s a good idea to get a facial at a Dermalogica salon so they can advise you on what to get.  It’s spendy, but so worth it, and the product lasts a really long time.  Never used Murad so I can’t compare.  I have normal skin with some sensitivity and dryness and I use Special Cleansing Gel and Ultracalming Cleanser, Soothing Protection Spray, and Intensive Moisture Balance.  I also have an obscene amount of their masques, boosters and treatments – Microfoliant is the best.

Currently I alternate with Murad clarifying cleanser (night) and Cetaphil (morning).  I am also a fan of Peter Thomas Roth (I use the glycolic toner) and Dermatologica.
