    I’m not sure I would shorten the train. Normally I would saw go for it, but a sweep train with a cathedral length veil would probably photograph weird during the ceremony.

    @GrannyPantiesRock:  I think it looks really nice as-is in the picture. Just make sure your MOH “fluffs” your dress and veil after you get up to the altar so that it photographs properly. I think it will make for a grand entrance into your ceremony.

    I voted “no”, because the design of the skirt at the back would be affected if you cut too much from the train. I think you could remove maybe a foot or so but no more.
