Hehe. So when I went looking at rings the other weekend, I told the consultant I was a 7.75, because I swear that is what I bought my college ring in 5+ years ago (right hand, of course). Anyways she used the ring sizer and I discovered I’m actually a 6.5. She slid a 6.5 on me and then I tried to get it off and I swore it was stuck! She told me that I had really muscular fingers and I needed to relax my muscle to take it off. She then asked me if I was a violinist (which I am!) and said that I have unusually muscular fingers and she could tell!
Anyone else ever been told you have muscular fingers?

Hehe, no muscular fingers here. They’re only a 3.5, but they’re squishy 🙂 Damn you, Girlscouts and your delicious cookies!

Mine are SO not muscular…mine are size 5 and soft and squishy too!

I do a lot of typing, drawing, and video gaming, so my fingers are what I would consider “muscular”, but they’re not “big”… but I can “flex” them and see a little bump lol I had that problem when I was trying on rings too that I had to relax them to get the 5.5 off, so we’re going with a 6 (plus kind of big knuckles..)
Here’s a pic from when I was showing off my DIY manicure..

@cacamillis: Yes, I realize it’s all tendons and connective tissue and fat 😉 But it’s less awkward to say I have muscular fingers instead of….well-developed tendons, I guess? lol

@pharmy: yeah- and mine are getting more “muscular” by the day, about to hit trimester 3 of pregnancy and my rings are getting tight and uncomfy 🙁
