(Closed) Music – Band & DJ? HELP!

You can definitely go from DJ to band to DJ!  I had a DJ for my ceremony, a harpist for cocktail hour and DJ for dinner.  Check with your DJ and see how much it would be to add him to the ceremony, it shouldnt be too much more.  That would be your best bet since the ceremony location doesnt have any AV equipment).  The band might have the equipment for the ceremony but since you want certain songs Id stick with the DJ (I was in the same boat!  The harpist couldve done the songs I wanted but I wanted the original version)

That’s right, after the ceremony the dj went down to the reception room and finished setting up for the reception while we had the harpist for cocktail hour. It was an additional fee for the dj to do the ceremony but it was a flat price so we weren’t paying hourly when he wasn’t playing music. I think it was an extra 295 for him to do the ceremony music.
